This week was absolutely freaking fantastic! When they told me the second trimester would be better, boy, were they right. It’s like night and day and I’m totally loving it!
Finally got the first taste of being able to enjoy being pregnant and not running to the bathroom all the time because I think I have to throw up.
A little baby bump is also showing and definitely feeling a lot more real each day now!

Second Trimester: Week 15 Pregnancy Recap
Symptoms
Honestly, nothing much to report this week! I felt so good and had such great energy, it was such a breath of fresh air.
Leg cramps
This was really the only thing that bothered me this week. It would happen when I’ve been standing or walking for too long. I noticed one hour tops and then I really need to sit down and rest.
Headaches
Woke up 3 times this week with a minor headache but none of them lasted too long. With a full bottle of water, a small snack and some morning stretches, this one was easy to overcome!
Constipation
Even though I’m mindful of drinking a lot of water, eating fruits and vegetables and exercising regularly, this symptom still gets me.
I went to three grocery stores on three different days to look for prune juice and they were all out of stock. What are the chances!?
Favorites This Week
Full Body Pregnancy Pillow
I’m mostly a side sleeper but I do end up on my back sometimes.
This pregnancy pillow really provides a cozy cushion and good back support.
FYI, it’s quite large in size and takes up almost half of my queen size bed.
Certainly a must have if not now then definitely later on in pregnancy when back sleeping is not recommended.
Maternity Under the Bump Underwear
LOVE these.
I wasn’t sure how they were going to be but they are actually so comfortable and soft.
Regular undies just don’t do it for me anymore!
The reason you need maternity underwear is because the waistband of regular underwear will sit right on your belly.
It’s pretty uncomfortable and will usually leave a crease on your belly.
So you either gotta wear panties that are over or under the bump and these ones are awesome!
Specialized pregnancy & postpartum panties that go under the bump for extra comfort for you and baby
Body Changes
Very obvious baby bump showing, yay! The scale has been slowly climbing up as well. The first trimester, I gained about 4lbs and now about 0.5 – 1.0lbs a week so far.
I’m still watching my weight very closely as it’s something I have always been a bit obsessive about.
Mood & Energy
Like I mentioned earlier, absolutely all smiles this week. I even went to the gym 5 times this week.
SO proud of myself for that. I haven’t been able to do that since I got pregnant and that used to be my regular routine.
Working out means so much to me mentally and the benefits of staying active during pregnancy are profound.
From shorter labors to reducing back pains and an easier postpartum recovery, it’s something I would recommend all mamas to put as a top priority.
Cravings
Crazy for all different kinds of colorful fruits this week. I had apples, oranges, blackberries, strawberries, mangoes and watermelon!
Woke up one night at 1:00am to eat a mango popsicle so that was fun!
My steak craving also came back this week and I wouldn’t mind having it again.
