Pretty par for the course this week. Symptoms were manageable and had good energy. I did get to start on something really special, more on that below.
Also, one more week until my detailed ultrasound and we can see baby in action again.
I feel like I’ve been waiting forever. It’s finally almost here and I’m SO excited!

Second Trimester: Week 18 Pregnancy Recap
Symptoms
Calf cramps
Woke up one more and my left calf was cramping. I tried to stretch it out but it didn’t seem to work. It felt like it was “stuck” like that, like a kink, and it lasted for a whole day.
Fatigue
Really noticed the fatigue after my gym workouts this week. I’ve modified my exercise routines and still am continuously modifying them as my pregnancy progresses but I’m really feeling my body changing.
I’m lifting lighter weights and not pushing myself as hard anymore. It takes me double the amount of energy to complete the same exercises that my body has already been used to doing for the past 4 years.
Headaches
This symptom hit pretty hard this week out of nowhere one morning. Being someone who used to suffer from migraines, I know when it’s about to come.
The sensation felt like my head was swelling. I resorted to drinking a small cup of coffee which helped alleviate the pain almost immediately.
Vivid dreams
This one never stopped actually. I’ve always had vivid dreams almost every single night even before I was pregnant.
During this entire time I’ve been pregnant, my dreams have just gotten weirder and it’s still going strong!
Favorites This Week
Maternity Under the Bump Underwear
Loved these so much, I ordered them again.
They’re honestly so much more comfortable than regular underwear.
They’re very soft also and have a thick-ish panty lining. Highly recommend them!
Specialized pregnancy & postpartum panties that go under the bump for extra comfort for you and baby
Highlights This Week
Finally set a date for my baby shower next month! Been on working on this project all week, doing invitations, finishing up the baby registry and picking out decorations.
It’s been so exciting and I feel like my dreams are coming true. It’s really happening!!
Cravings
Craved seafood all week! Last week was a Mexican theme and this week was all from the sea. I haven’t had much of a chance to eat a lot of seafood ever since I got pregnant even though I absolutely love it.
I love the RAW stuff, oysters and sashimi are top on the list. Of course I can’t have that…
I did get a taste of other seafood this week though. Had ling cod fish for dinner, crab cakes one night, garlic butter tiger prawns (mad heartburn after but SO worth it) and salmon soup made from my mama. Delish!
