Week 31 of this pregnancy had a few ups and downs, emotionally and physically. I just couldn’t find the motivation to complete the tasks I had on my to-do list.
Things like packing a hospital bag and writing a birth plan were supposed to be done this week but I just couldn’t do it.
In all honesty, I’m pretty glad I’m not having major mood swings. I’ve heard some stories from from other pregnant mamas like crying while brushing their teeth or breaking down at a restaurant…
But I did feel a bit less inspired this week and I blame it all on the hormones.
Anyway, another week down…9 more weeks to go!

Third Trimester: Week 31 Pregnancy Recap
Symptoms
Hot flashes
Woke up two nights this week just drenched in sweat! Not to mention the weather is still hot here but we’ve had this hot weather a few weeks before and I did not experience this at all.
My body was so hot one of the days I literally could not do anything to move because anything and everything was making me feel hotter.
Headaches
This I think was a by-product symptom of the heat. A little bit of coffee always helps though…
Braxton hicks
This one is getting more intense! I felt this symptom a few times in one day compared to just the usual once a day or once every two days. I really have a feeling she’s going to come early…
Favorites This Week
Postpartum Belly Support Recovery Wrap
Decided to get myself one of these belly wraps.
I’ve heard and read that they can be beneficial after giving birth.
It comes with 3 different wraps based on your recovery stage.
The purpose is to help you get back in shape and improve ab separation after pregnancy and much more!
Mood & Energy
Like I mentioned earlier, ups and downs. Some days I literally did nothing at all and slept a whole lot. A few of the other days, I organized the nursery a bit more.
I started packing a hospital bag and writing a birth plan which I’ll aim to finish next week.
Aside from that, I did manage to go to the gym 4 times this week. I modified my workouts to a lower intensity and this week the result was much better!
I didn’t feel completely wiped after my workouts and had a rush of energy afterwards. Exercising also helped with my mood which is why I made sure not to skip any days this week.
And trust me, it was hard! Those down days, I really didn’t wanna go but in the end, I’m always glad I did.
Cravings
More sweets and ice cold smoothies! Nothing too specific but these seem to be my go to this pregnancy as I’m usually craving the same things.
