This week was pretty great overall. Finally submitted my maternity leave for about one month from now and can’t wait to be off work!
I’m really looking forward to spending some quality time with me and baby.
I must say, working full time while pregnant is not always easy and not sure if that should even be legal.
There are days where I feel like I’m on top of it all and then there are days where I’m dreading to go to work.
For all you mamas out there still working while pregnant, I praise you!
That is no easy task, especially if you still have to do house chores and cook dinner and all of the above. You are a star!

Second Trimester: Week 23 Pregnancy Recap
Symptoms
Nausea
Second trimester has been such a blessing, I totally forgot about all the nausea I felt during the first trimester. Well, as I’m coming closer to the third trimester, this symptom is slowly creeping up on me again…
Lower back pain
This symptom has really been bothering me when I’m getting out of bed in the morning. It almost feels like I can’t some mornings!
I’m also experiencing a bit of abdominal coning so being extra mindful of preventing it from getting worse.
Round ligament pain
Totally forgot how painful this was for me in the first trimester. Although, most people don’t experience this until later on in pregnancy, I started feeling this right from the get-go.
It disappeared for almost all of second trimester but started to come back this week.
Favorites This Week
Went a little bit bananas and bought a bunch of beautiful skirts from SHEIN. It’s been so hot this week and pants just won’t do it anymore.
I’ve really been loving SHEIN lately as it’s affordable and stylish. I’m growing out of my maternity clothes so fast that it’s way more worth it to get clothes from here for the time being!
Maternity clothes are so expensive and you grow out of them so quick. I kinda feel like I’m the baby here!
SHEIN Geo Print Tassel Tie Waist Skirt
Not for maternity but still works great over the bump, plus I can wear them postpartum also!
SHEIN Geo Print Split Thigh Skirt
Again, not for maternity but still very comfortable. I’m just under 5’1″ tall so wearing this over my bump is perfect and no hemming is needed
Cravings
Sweets! This week I craved a lot more sweets than I wanted to. Matcha green tea ice cream is still on the list along with some chocolate chip cookies and sour coke candy.
