One more week to go and I’ll officially be in my third trimester.
The second trimester flew by so quickly, I wish I could go back in time and relive it all over again.
Also, only 4 more days of work and I’m off! Even though, I’ll have about 2 months off before baby arrives, I still feel like that’s not enough time.
There’s so much I still need to learn and prepare for like breastfeeding, labor preparation, sleep routines, weening, the list goes on.
I’m trying not to put too much pressure on myself and remind myself that this is journey of growth and I’m going to continue to learn about motherhood for the rest of my life.
Just going to take it one thing at a time…

Second Trimester: Week 27 Pregnancy Recap
Symptoms
Nausea
Haven’t felt this one in a while…almost forgot how bad it was in the first trimester. I’ve heard that the third trimester is like the first trimester on steroids.
Someone please tell me that’s not true.
Gagging
Again, haven’t had this symptom in a while and boy it sure is unpleasant…
Pause here and save this pin for later!
Highlights This Week
Baby movements have gotten SO strong. Sometimes they catch me off guard. I have an anterior placenta so some of her movements are still cushioned.
I can’t even imagine how strong they would feel if my placenta wasn’t in front.
Late one evening when she decided to have a dance party in my belly, I decided to tap different spots on my belly to see if she would respond and she did!
It was such a cool experience, definitely felt like we bonded a bit more.
Cravings
Guys…FINALLY. I have some sort of a craving. And that’s…cinnamon raison bread! It wasn’t a super duper strong craving but it was something at least.
I love how random these are. Anyway, I’ve been enjoying toasted cinnamon raison bread with a little bit of butter. Yum!
Favorites This Week
IKEA RÅSKOG Utility Cart – I’ve been seeing this a lot on mommy vloggers on YouTube and thought that it’s such a great idea.
I’m going to be using this as a breastfeeding cart mostly with some diapering essentials as well.
I love how the middle rack is adjustable and the wheels on this cart are smooth and quiet.
Thanks for stopping by
